HOW ARE WE EVOLVING?
The purpose of this project is to get a deeper view on how the Generation Z is changing (with a specific focus on people between 16 and 30 years old), understand if and where there are traumas, and eventually enable public and private initiatives to adapt to current changes.
The reason why wars impact mental health and consequently change people’s behaviours is because they fundamentally are traumatic experiences, as any event in life that causes a threat to our safety and potentially places our own life or the lives of others at risk. This research project starts from the belief that COVID-19 represents a traumatic experience and will cause major mental and behavioural impact on everyone, especially vulnerable groups. Studies of the general population show that women are more affected by Post Traumatic Disorders (PSTD) than men. Other vulnerable groups are children, teenegers, the elderly and the disabled.
